Who we are:
Dejinta Beesha is incorporated as a non profit agency, whose mandate is to provide settlement, integration, recreation, health, employment, education and social services to the community. The organization was established in 1994 and incorporated on October 21, 1999.
Our Mission is:
Dejinta Beesha is a multi-service community organization that fulfills its mission of helping many, one by one through active programming that
is receptive to the needs of the communities we serve.
Dejinta Beesha’s services include, counseling on settlement and integration services such as general sponsorship (including family reunification), housing, employment, health, legal, Ontario works, financial assistance and poverty reduction(food security ), interpretation, translation assistance, advocacy, recreation and after school(tutoring and homework help), referral services (Youth, Seniors and Children Services), community development (capacity building) and research. These comprehensive programs promote
the well-being, empowerment, and stability by partnering with government, community members, partner agencies and educators to create a safe and fulfilling environment for the community in large.
